Library workers routinely use and analyze data related to their collection, patrons, and institutions. Using code for data management, analysis, and visualization can be extremely useful to them. This talk will cover the basics of the R programming language and how it can be used to analyze data and to create visualizations and interactive dashboards. Attendees will leave with a foundational understanding of R's capabilities and ideas for applying these skills in their libraries.
