About me
I am a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. I have over 25 years of experience in library services across academic, school, and special libraries. Currently, I serve as the Tribal Libraries Program Coordinator at the New Mexico State Library, where I act as a key liaison between the state and 22 Tribal governments. In this capacity, I provide essential support to Tribal public libraries, assisting with all aspects of librarianship to enhance services and ensure that Tribal libraries’ needs are met. I am deeply committed to expanding collaboration among Tribal libraries, creating diverse opportunities for collective growth, and fostering impactful, reciprocal support systems. I also contribute actively to various national, regional, and state boards and committees, where I play a pivotal role in advancing and supporting the development of Tribal librarianship.
